New banner image on site

I’ve updated the banner image from the generic one from the theme I’m using to a more apropriate Star Frontier’s themed one.  The image is a bit of the cover image from SFAD6:  Dark Side of the Moon.  It’s been tweaked a bit to show the distortion of the Void coming through the window of the ship and the colors inverted.  This is a nod to the description in the Knight Hawks campaign book (p 33) that describes Void travel as follows:

During the breif period the ship spends in the Void, characters will feel that their senses are very distorted; colors and sounds will be unfamiliar, and the sense of touch will seem to vanish completely.

Let me know what you think of the new banner in the comments.

Episode 2

terlobar | October 17, 2009 in podcast | Comments (0)

Welcome to episode 2 of the Whispers from the Void podcast.  This is the first of a two part series where we talk with Art Eaton, current owner of the starfrontiers.org site.  In this segment we discuss Art’s history with Star Frontiers and the history and content of the starfrontiers.org website.

Due to vocal enthusiasm for the idea (you know who you are!), I’ve added a “Choose Your Own Adventure” segment to the podcast.  We’ll see how it goes.
